What if your struggles made more sense than you realize?
Therapy isn't just about eliminating symptoms.
It's about understanding the function and the wisdom behind them.
When we understand why certain thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationship patterns developed, we often discover something hopeful:
Your system isn't working against you.
It's been working incredibly hard to protect you.
Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
For more than twenty years, I’ve had the privilege of sitting with people through some of the most vulnerable and transformative seasons of their lives.
Again and again, I've found that meaningful change begins with understanding why and how your mind, body, and relationships adapted the way they did—and discovering that those patterns make sense even if they are the very reasons you find yourself here.
My role isn't to tell you how you should change or who you should become. It's to help you understand yourself with greater clarity, compassion, and curiosity, so you can begin making choices that reflect who you truly are rather than who you have been in order to survive.
Together, we'll create the conditions for lasting change—not by fighting against your experience of yourself, but working with it.
I don’t believe therapy changes people by teaching them who they should be.
I believe it creates the conditions to discover who they’ve been all along.
